At first when i saw this i was in shock! What has been done? Were the trees diseased? I asked someone in the bookstore and found out that the new MC will be built here and thats why the trees are gone.
That is a terrible picture!!! It reminds me of ferngully (the movie about the fary's in the rainforest). Ok, so maybe it was for a good cause, but that's the one area I think the church should work on (I still have a testimony and the church is true) but it makes me sad sometimes that we waste so much of our precious resources on looking good. Why are we constantly tearing out trees and re doing flower beds? Why do we have huge lucious gardens surrounding our temples in the deserts? I wish we could be a little more conservative. Maybe I should do something about it. Like hold a seminar on xeriscaping.
