Wow, that would be so wonderful to restore the republic. Each state would print their own money, take care of the poor and homeless, etc. I worry that Ron Paul, if he wins, perhaps should wear a bullet proof vest and keep an armed guard near him 24 hours a day if he gets elected, because I have seen every president that wanted to make the changes he is advocating get shot, or shot at. We should pray for him. Also, we do have to have enough taxes to support an army and navy for our country, every country needs that, and I guess the children will just have to take care of their aged parents like they used to do for the first 300 years of our country, before the "Old Age Pension" passed in 1936(now known as Medicare). Also, each state and city would have to come up with ways to take care of homeless children, etc. And all the senators and leaders except the President would just have to donate their time, like they used to do 300 years ago. But it does seem better than all the government control. The states used to print their own money too, until the Federal Reserve took over.
I agree: If he's elected he would need a bullet proof vest and some of the best body-guards. Sometimes the best choices require the most work and risk to make them happen!
